DeLay rule rescinded

Republicans have decided to reverse the DeLay rule which would have allowed a party leader to retain his position even if indicted. It's nice to see that Republicans took a moral stand, rethinking their position and its merits, and finally, as a matter of principle, deciding against-

"We want to make sure the substance comes first, and that anything that would hamper or undermine our agenda needs to be nipped in the bud," Jonathan Grella, a spokesman for Mr. DeLay, said.
