Suggestion for the on coming debate

I'm thinking that in the battle for Social Security privatization, one of the Democratic talking points should be that the policy can't afford to be enacted due to the large deficit that Bush has already run up. For example:

"Well, [host of talking head show], on top of all the other problems, you'll see that the cost of the plan is at least 2 trillion dollars. This would not be a problem but for the fact that President Bush has run up record deficits already."
