Tripping the sensor on bad planning

I'm sure by now you've heard of the "Minuteman Project," encourage normal people like you and me to go to Arizona and patrol the borders to keep out illegal immigrants.

I'd like to take this time to thank them for tripping border alarms and forcing the actual Border Patrol to repsond people who could detain immigrants to respond to false alarms instead.

Sounds like a well thought out plan to me.
