"Legacy of Crisis" tour moves on to Montana
Public polling tells President to keep moving:
President Bush will have a tough time convincing Montanans to support his proposal that workers be allowed to divert part of their Social Security payroll taxes into individual investment accounts, a recent poll for the Great Falls Tribune shows.
Montanans oppose switching to personal Social Security investment accounts by a nearly 2-to-1 margin, according to a telephone poll of 405 adults conducted Saturday through Monday by Montana State-Billings. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.
