What we are up against

If you have the stomach, and want to laugh at an extremely partisan quiz and article about Social Security, click here. Note the article quotes "some experts" who think Social Security nay be broke in four decade, but gives no space to the argument that it may in fact remain solvent without Bush's raid.

The quiz is even worse. One question asks "what is the consequence is nothing is done now?" As discussed before, it's entirely possible that nothing will be the "consequence." The quiz, however, calls that answer incorrect. Apparently it can see the future, and knows how inflation, wage increases, and GDP will impact the system 40 years from now.

But it's all presented as fact and news. *sigh*
