“This administration is populated by people who’ve spent their careers bashing government. They’re not just small-government conservatives—they’re Grover Norquist, strangle-it-in-the-bathtub conservatives. It’s a cognitive disconnect for them to be able to do something well in an arena that they have so derided and reviled all these years.”

I'm told early voters yet to be counted in FL. Buck up, bucko!

MSNBC reports people still in line to vote in some OH counties

CNN reports KERRY insider concedes FL

KOS says FL is too early, with over 1 million provisional ballots.

I agree with Tucker Carlson (believe it or not) that gerrymandering leads to a more divided nation. When guys like Coburn can win a seat in the Senate running on killing abortion doctors, that scares me. It really does.

If OH is Bush, the race is over. I'm not sure I see KERRY conceding tonight.
Provisional ballots still to count. Who knows. I think I'm done for tonight...

Mary Beth Cahill releases a statement saying just that. I'm getting good at this stuff.

SOS from OH, Ken Blackwell just said on CNN at least 200k provisional ballots still out there, and they won't be counted until 10-11 days from now. I can't believe we've had four years to figure this thing out, and we still can't get it right.

Lord help us.

CNN now reports that IOWA will not announce their winner until Wensday due to a machine failure and "fatigue." It just gets better and better...
