Obamamania!
One bright spot from the election of course is the emergence of Barack Obama. Think he's going to be a genial man to the Republican ways? Think not:
But Sen.-elect Barack Obama, D-Ill., noted on NBC's "Today" show that the GOP doesn't have 60 votes. "My hope would be that they recognize that, and the Democrats are willing to serve as a loyal opposition."
These are the strong leaders that the Democrats need to come to the forefront. Obama's popular, won big in Illinois, and was even out campaigning for other Senators in the election. He is the face of the future of the party. Hopefully those in charge can find more like him.
