"A perfect storm of pork"

Read, if you can, about the massive corporate tax breaks for the recently censured Tom DeLay and company have passed through the Congress. Speaking of ol' Tommy boy:
But in a gesture of mercy to a handful of oil service companies from Texas, House Republicans gave a green light to companies that moved offshore before March 4, 2003. The beneficiaries of that decision include the Noble Corporation, Weatherford International, Cooper Industries and Nabors Industries - all in or near the district of Tom DeLay, the House majority leader.

Republican Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert managed an 11 million dollar tax break for tackle box companies in his home state.

Nothing like having the so called economic conservatives in charge, is there?
