Please don't be a sign of things to come

It was refreshing not to hear about new insurgent attacks in Iraq every day. One would hope that quiet months would blend together to form a more peaceful Iraq. So when I read today that insurgents mounted an orchestrated assault on the Abu Ghraib prison, I couldn't help but wonder if this lull was just an opportunity to train.

I've no expertise in the Middle East. I guess we will know if more of these attacks take place in the future.
