Inappropriate analogy of the day

AP:
"[Social Security privatization] is like being for the Civil Rights Bill in 1960," said Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla., emerging from a meeting of the rank and file.

Yes, Tom, destroying the future of Social Security is very much akin to providing equal rights to a group that had struggled for equality for years.
