Flip flopping's so last fall

In the House, where every seat is up for election every two years, Republican leaders want the president to present a specific plan and work to sell it to the country before pressing Congress to vote.
Feb 11, 2005:
"I don't want them [the administration] to do our job, which is create legislation," House Majority Whip Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) said in an interview. "Information is power in this debate, and we're going to see that our members get as much of it as possible."
I guess the "crisis" can wait, possibly as long as two years.
