Senate Watch 2006
Some quick hits on a couple of key 2006 Senate races:
Color Ben Nelson's Nebraska seat a little safer, as Bush's appointment of Mike Johanns to Secretary of Agriculture removes what many thought was the GOP's best shot at winning the seat.
Joe Hoeffel, who lost to Arlen Specter in this year's Seante campaign in Pennsylvania won't rule out running in 2006 against Rick Santorum. Hoeffel was outspent this cycle by nearly 15 million dollars, and admits that he did not garner all of the support he should have. Hoeffel was beaten by Specter by a 53-42 margin.
