Appointed to win
When Republicans cast aspersions at Democrats for not looking to usurp the legal voting process that is set up in each state by actually demanding for manual recounts, you should remind them of Rep. Talmadge Heflin, R-Houston, who has lost once again in his bid to retain his Texas House seat. Rather than listen to the will of the people, Heflin wants the GOP run state legislature to overturn the outcome and declare him the winner.
Or you can point to Republican Dana Seum Stephenson, who illegaly ran for the Kentucky state Senate and won the vote. Courts later ruled her ineligible to run because she did not qualify under Kentucky residency laws, so she has asked the GOP controlled state legislature to overrule the judge and declare her the victor.
