Cleaning up
I need to clean up the last of these links, and then I've got to start cleaning up the mess that we call home.
Is James Taranto really suggesting that if Democrats want to win in future elections, they should allow Roe v. Wade to be overturned? I would love to hear the ethical arguement he puts forth to support that.
I have a feeling that if teaching college paid as well as being CEO of Halliburton or Enron, you'd see more conservative professors. That being said, can Bruce Bartlett point me to the stable of eager young conservatives that want to teach at college but have been shunned. Not one or two stories, mind you, but a large group of shut-out conservatives? Maybe the problem is not that liberals dominate the campus, but that conservatives don't see being an educator as a serious job.
Is someone from the Bush administration really lambasting the Koyoto treaty as "not based in science?" This from a side who just threw out a nine year study to work off the whim of one man when it comes to forest conservation? How much gall can be left in this administration?
Fine for Republican wire tapping in Virginia? $750,000. Seeing the party of "moral and ethics" squirm? Priceless.
And finally, congrats to Al Franken and Air America Radio. Al signed a two year deal today to remain a "lead personality" for the station, now broadcasting to 40 cities nationwide, and available on the internet here.
