The DCCC is organizing volunteer road trips December 1-5 to help defend an open Democratic seat and win retiring Rep. Billy Tauzin's seat away from his son.

There is one lesson we can take from this past election: The power of people on the ground is undeniable. More people were mobilized in the field than ever before, which led to one of the biggest voter turnouts in our nation's history. While we may not have the financial resources of the Republican Party, we showed them that we have a resource that is much more valuable - activists like you.
