Swift update
I have yet to look at other blogs today, but I think the safe bet is the New York Times article on the Swift Boat Veterans is all over it.
I imagine there will be some questioning the timing of the article the day after Kerry goes on the offensive in the whole debate from the right. And there will be cheers from the left. It it, more or less, a summation of reports that have hit various blogs since the beginning. Go read it if you haven't already.
It seems that the connections that the Times reports on between all the players and the Bush campaign was one of the prompts for the Kerry campaign to file a complaint with the FEC regarding the Swift Boaters:
John Kerry's campaign has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission that alleges the Bush campaign has been illegally coordinating with a group behind an ad that accuses Kerry of inflating his war record.
The complaint cites "recent press reports" and the group's own statements.
Remember Bush filed a similar complaint about certain Democratic 527 and the Kerry campaign. These complaints should be resolved in time for the next election.
