Just want to get this straight.

Three year old surveillance of buildings in New York and Washington DC warrant terror warnings the weekend after the Democratic National Convention because we must keep the American people safe.

Three year old surveillance of buildings in Las Vegas warrant no terror warnings a year after 9/11 because of concerns people would not travel to a place that could be viewed as unsafe.

Just making sure.
