Early trends favor Kerry
It has become tradition for the cities of Dixville Notch and Hart's Location in New Hampshire to vote shortly after midnight. The results have already come in, and to no one's surprise, George Bush won a majority of the two town's votes. But check out the margins compared with 2000.
Hart's Location 2000 - Bush 17, Gore 13.
Hart's Location 2004 - Bush 15, Kerry 15, Nader 1
Dixville Notch 2000 - Bush 21, Gore 5, Nader 1
Dixville Notch 2004 - Bush 19, Gore 7
Aside from the Nader voter moving, its a gain for Kerry, baby! If Democrats and Republicans vote party line, Kerry won a big break among independents, and gained a net four voters from Bush last election. Forecast that over 120 million voters!
Momentum is flowing! Get out the vote!
