There's my answer

On September 11th, I posted the following:
Think back to those days after the attacks, when it seemed all we had was hope to carry us through. Was this where you thought we'd be right now?

Apparently not:
A Rasmussen Reports survey found that 37% say the nation has changed for the better while 43% say it has changed for the worse. Only 7% say the nation was not changed by the events of that horrible day.

It's sad that all that good will and hope got wasted by shoddy handling of the War on Terror. Sadder still is that somehow he still manages great ratings on this issue. How can these people not see the connection?
